Terms and Conditions




There are a number of variables which may affect the quotation, including the time of year, location of shoot (as we often get called to work oversees), potential weather, other external shooting conditions, associated risk of taking the job on and requirements for additional CAA approvals.

Travel expenses for UK jobs will be billed at 50p per mile. If accommodation is needed, that will also be billable though this will be agreed with the client beforehand.


PAYMENT TERMS: 14 Days (unless by prior agreement in writing). Interest of 2% above base rate may be charged on late payments.

We will be happy to discuss any of the above with you in greater detail and think you will find us fair, reasonable and transparent.

We are happy to provide ANY quotes in writing once we have received a full brief from the Client and have been able to discuss the requirements and expectations of the shoot. We will state on the quote how long it is valid for and that the booking must be made within that period.



We are as flexible as possible when working with clients. Due to the nature of the weather in the UK and nature of filming shoots, our jobs are often booked at the last minute. However we must have enough time to do pre-flight checks and ensure that the job can be undertaken safely, adhering to the rules & regulations of aerial filming and our operating licence.


We are happy to pencil in potential jobs and dates for Clients. However, actual bookings will always take priority.

Due to the nature of the filming industry and working with a number of staff and freelancers, we do require our clients to commit when booking our services and time. Unless by special circumstances, we require 35% of the booking to be PAID IN ADVANCE.


All enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.



Remote controlled aerial filming is naturally affected by the flying conditions. If due to weather (i.e rain, strong winds etc) we are not able to shoot we shall not charge the client if we can make alternative arrangements for the shoot to happen at another time. The 35% booking fee is simply transferred to another day when we can shoot.

If the shoot cannot be re-scheduled (which we usually know in advance of carrying out the job) anyway, we will discuss cancellation policy with the Client and come to a fair and reasonable compromise.


If a job is cancelled by the client and not re-scheduled due to the client no longer requiring our services, or is cancelled with less than 7 days written notice, the 35% deposit will not be refunded unless by agreement in writing and any additional costs incurred by Shinx Creative Ltd, will also have to be met by the client within 7 days of demand.

We will do our best to make sure the shoot goes ahead when planned, but if we are not able to go ahead for any reason, including inclement weather, then we cannot accept any liability for any losses or damages whatsoever incurred by the client as a result.




Naturally we are proud of our work and Shinx Creative Ltd actively promotes its service, but we will not publish any footage we shoot until it has been released by the Client. We do reserve the right to use ANY of our footage for promotional purposes, including on our showreel for PR purposes, to promote Shinx Creative Ltd. If for any reason this is a problem, we would ask you to kindly tell us in writing in advance of commencement of filming. Thank you.
